Hanging It Up...

Hi guys, Invictus here.
Many of you may know me through different gamertags through the years but mainly Invictus, Div and Sandman. I have been playing halo since Halo 2 first came out, so a long time
obviously not as long as some of you veterans out there haha. For the most part the run I have had has been nothing short of amazing and the people I have gotten to know over
these years are absolutely incredible, haters included.

Today I would like to make an official announcement that I am leaving the community and as a result Halo completely. Thing is I have other passions and goals I will be fulfilling, the
funny this is Halo is something I personally am good at but there are 2 other hobbies/interests that even I can safely say I have a lot more talent in, Hence....why im going to be
pursuing it. I would like to thank the community, in attending and hosting so many gamenights that have been fun, also the boring ones Wink

Haha Just Kidding ofcourse.

But in all seriousness, really appreciate everyone who has helped me through out the years.
I would like to thank all my mates from the golden days; The original Namakura (Miss you soo much man), Avail, Danzok, Fist, Derezzed, Medusa, Hyena, Thomas, Joshua, Jay...
Would also like to my thank day to day playing buddies; Pouty, Kronos , Balto , Sheep, Irritic, Purger, Cody, Kentuck, Butterfly, Kiko, June, Kenshin and Seirra.
Finally would like to thank all the people I have missed, didn't want this farewell to be an essay. I have a lot of special people to wish, but I frankly would be here all day listing them.

So to keep thinks short and sweet, farewell everyone, its been a good one. . .

@Invictus no worries bud, been with you through thick and thin over the years since i first met you in 2012, no matter what happens feel free to hit me up any time man, catch up etc. No matter the times or changes nothing can change the friendship that i have with you over the time we have known each other. Just want to say Thank You for Everything....

@Invictus - I just want this time to say thank you for everything you have taught me and my team.

Without you, we would have no concept of knowing the importance of Set-Work and an aggressive playstyle.

Even the small things from taking time out of your day just to help random individuals online who have matured into incredible players, when you gain 0

reward out of it. You have taught and inspired so many people who have known and followed you through out the years.

I thank you for all the amazing moments you created at the LAN's.

I thank you for all the amazing rivalries you had with @Thy Lycan and I am sure there is a part of him which appreciates the skills you bring to the table.

Finally I thank you for allowing us to pay witness talent unparalleled to any halo player out there.

From your Snipes, to more intrinsic qualities such as your movement and calculated plays, I thank you.

It has been an honour to play with and against you @Invictus

Plus he is really is only good with the sniper, most over-rated pro I have ever seen in my life.

First of all I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, you have been such an inspiration to so many players who have known you, from all your old days of halo. Not to mention for all the people in your personal life. Even when I was going through such a dark and depressing time of my life, you reached out to me and helped me and my family out, some one that you barely knew. I can never repay you for that. Most of the people here are thanking you for your contributions to this community but me and Tristen both thank you for how you not only saved my life and brought my family to where they are today.

First of all, I want to address all the cowards here who think its right to be posting disgusting messages on a Invictuses retirement thread. He has been one of the greatest inspirations for so many players and pros through out the years under so many gamertags, his legacy is unparalleled in ways you cannot imagine. Next person dare put anything demeaning will not just be banned from the site but will be black listed from this community.

I Agree with @Jestics

I wouldn't be any where near the skill in FPS games without @Invictus, but more than that he has been such a light at the end of a tunnel full of darkness on so many occasions.

Ive learnt so much from you and your friends, all I can say is thank you.
