BKT Inaugural Halo 5 2019 Pre-Season Neophyte Tournament - Jan 25th , 2019 (Season 1)
Greetings fellow members, this is a quick announcement to ALL the BKT members who are within the Ranks 601 - 901 in the community!

So first of all the tournament will be STRICTLY a HALO 5: Guardians only tournament, and will be hosted on January 25th, 2019 - January 28th, 2019
(Every-one will receive specific timing details 3 days before your match up)
Since this is a Rank Restricted tournament, participants need to be of the following rank bracket / class of 601 - 901 Placing /1009 members if you are ranked higher or lower than the following rank restriction then you can not take part in this tournament. Accounts used on the day of the tournament must be verified by an admin such as myself, UDS, Dean Zach at least 3 days BEFORE the tournament.

The maps that will be used in this tournament are:

Round 1: Truth, Plaza, Eden
Round 2: Truth, Plaza, Regret
Round 3: Fathom, The Rig, Collesium
Semi-Finals and Grand Finals: Refuge HCS, The Rig HCS , Empire HCS, Fathom, Regret.

Tournament Layout and Structure:

1st Round will be FIRST to 15 KILLS and will be a BEST of 3 Match Structure! Match Duration: 12 Minutes with Default Overtime.
2nd Round will be FIRST to 15 KILLS and will be a BEST of 3 Match Structure! Match Duration: 12 Minutes with Default Overtime.
Quarter-Finals will be FIRST to 15 KILLS and will be a FIRST to 3 Match Structure! Match Duration: 12 Minutes with Default Overtime.

Semi-Finals will be FIRST to 15 KILLS and will be a FIRST to 3 Match Structure! Match Duration: 12 Minutes with Default Overtime.
Grand-Finals will be FIRST to 15 KILLS and will be a FIRST to 3 Match Structure! Match Duration: 15 Minutes with Default Overtime.

Note: There will be a 3 other batches of participants in 3 different tournament brackets within the same rank class, the bracket shown above
however is ONLY the bracket of the Money Based Tournament, the other 3 batches will be competing for ranking points ONLY.

Some Ground Rules:
1.) Only follow directions regarding your matches from the 2 main admins on match day, which is Me (FreQ June Mia / June Ishii Mia) and Dean Zach, if you do
have any issues with either one of the main admins on match day feel free to report them to the community coordinator @Jestics
2.) Only start the game once the admin tells you to start, do not open any messages from anyone in the middle of the game UNLESS its from an ADMIN.
3.) ALL WEAPONS are allowed EXCEPT the PLASMA PISTOL.

Hi @June Ishii Mia,
Could you please give an update on the prize pool of this tournament, in the challonge website the prize money is a little different to what I have got told by some other people. Also regarding the other 3 brackets where can i find the challonge links to those?

Hi June,

If you have the time could you please create the Seasonal Timetable for future Neophyte tournaments like the one we had last year.
Think it will be super helpful to organize our times, so we can plan our work around it.
Also for this year all the planned calendar events seem to have been wiped out.
Is that a fault on the site or are there no major events planned for this year?
